Luizo Vega was born in December 24th 1974 in Argentina.
In 1998 he created the performance company "Powder".
In 1999, he moved to Chili. In 2000 presented his opera "Human ET" and in 2001 the tv shows "Nud City' & "Depto 01".
In 2002, his project "Baby Vamp" caused an uprising in the Chilean medias and led to an intense political debate. Vega was put under arrest , sent to trial and was finally expelled from the country.
After his return to Argentina in 2003, he presented the performance cycles "PAZ" & "Cruz & Fiction". In December 2003, he begins to pose nude in historical monuments and religious temples.
In 2005 he presented the performance "Limbo" during the opening of the Mercosur International Theater Festival for 5,000 spectators.
In 2006, he makes the film "La Croix" with a scene of real crucifixion.
In 2008, he moved to Europe, founding the Parisian production "Revolushion Films".
In 2010, in Barcelona, he presents "Baby Burka" and he poses nude in front of the Vatican. Same year he begins a collaboration with the Canadian filmmaker Bruce LaBruce. Together they present "Obscenity" in La Fresh Gallery, Madrid and 3 days of show in Club Salo Paris.
He also works with La Fura del Baus and Erika Lust.
In 2013, he is invited by the Louvre Museum to pose for "The Naked Project". He continues his project in Le Musee Rodin and on the tombs of Eugène Delacroix, Frédéric Chopin and Oscar Wilde. He also works with Pierre et Gilles and Rick Owens.
In January 2015, he presents the films "The Material Boy" and "Sangra Tango" in the David Lynch's Club Silencio Paris, and in the official competition of the Guadalajara International Film Festival. The film is projected in 30 countries. In December 2015, "The Material Boy" is presented in MK2 Paris and the ASVOFF Film Festival in Centre Pompidou Paris.
During 2016, 2017 and 2018 he produces and directs his movie "Dracula is not Dead" and the photographic exhibition "I Wanna be your Slave".
During 2019 he posed for his mother on the tomb of Vincent Van Gogh and he presented "Dracula is Not Dead" in the Cinema Moviemento Berlin.
In 2020 he works in the exhibitions "Portraits & Flowers", "Les Muses Maudites", "Olympus", "F.A.G" and the experimental projects "Batman Mort à Paris" and "SEX Tribute".
